   I used these to replace some lifts on two tall Dunelm bar stools that had both failed pematurely at about 18 months.
   They seem well made and the service/delivery was 1st class.
   For anyone interested these lifts came up slightly shorter than my originals due to a difference in the lower taper, but only by around 20mm when fully extended so were still ok .

   I wanted to replace the gas lift in my home office chair with this to make it taller. This is probably for a kitchen high stool but so far (3 weeks) it seems perfect. The lowest setting is good for a tall person. I'm 189cm. Recommended.
